While the result is similar to microdermabrasion, we use chemical peels at Well Labs+ Medspa Dallas for more intense situations where microdermabrasion may not be up to the task. For people at high risk, a light chemical peel three or four times a year is the best way to keep skin cancer at bay.

What To Expect

Here’s what to expect when you get a chemical peel at Well Labs+ Medspa Dallas.

We apply the peel after a thorough cleansing of the skin. You will feel no discomfort, and there is no redness following the application. You will feel comfortable enough to return to your normal activities right away, including going back to work. Total time in the office for this procedure is around 30-minutes.

During the short recovery time, you will peel lightly for a couple of days. Be sure to protect the treated area from the sun by staying indoors or by using a zinc-oxide based sunscreen. After one week, the skin will look clearer, brighter, smoother, and younger. We have several types of chemical peels available.
