What To Expect

Here’s what to expect when you undergo Ultherapy.

An Ultherapy treatment is done right in our office at Well Labs+ Medspa Dallas on an outpatient basis. No anesthesia is needed, and most of our patients find the procedure to be very tolerable. You may feel a sensation while the energy is delivered, but the feeling is mild and short-lived. Your treatment will likely last anywhere from 15-90 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area and the number of areas to be addressed in a single session.

You will be able to return to your regular activities as soon as your Ultherapy session is over. Side effects tend to be both mild and infrequent and may include skin redness, swelling, or soreness in the treatment area. All of these side effects subside within a few hours to a couple of days. None should be severe enough to affect your daily schedule.

You may see some initial tightening of the skin immediately following your Ultherapy treatment, due to the constriction of tissue during the procedure. However, those results will significantly improve in the weeks following your procedure, with full results becoming evident within 2-3 months. Your skin will look tighter, smoother and more youthful at this time. The duration of your results will vary based on how fast your skin tends to age but should last many months or longer.
