How does laser tattoo removal work?
The laser sends targeted energy into the skin that breaks the ink into tiny particles, which your body then clears away naturally over the weeks between sessions. It does not erase a tattoo in one visit. Fading happens gradually, session by session, which is why removal is a plan rather than a single appointment.
How many sessions will it take?
It depends on your tattoo. Ink color, ink density, how old the tattoo is, where it sits on your body, and your skin all affect how many sessions you need, and most tattoos take a series spread over several months with healing time in between. At your consultation we assess your specific ink and give you an honest estimate rather than a guess.
Can my tattoo be removed completely?
Sometimes, but not always, and we will not promise a full result we cannot control. Black ink usually responds best, while some colors are more stubborn, and results vary by person. If a complete result is not realistic for your ink, we tell you that up front so you can decide with clear expectations.
Does it hurt, and what is aftercare like?
Most people describe the sensation as brief and manageable, and your provider takes steps to keep you comfortable. Afterward the treated area needs simple care while it heals, and we walk you through exactly what to do. Clients tell us the clear aftercare guidance is part of what makes the experience feel safe.
Do you remove permanent makeup and microblading too?
Yes. We remove and lighten PMU, including old microblading, lip blush, and eyebrow tattoos. PMU pigments behave differently from body ink, so we assess them separately and set expectations specific to permanent makeup. Your consultation covers what is realistic for your PMU before any treatment begins.
