What is the Hollywood Spectra laser facial?
It is a non-ablative, FDA-cleared laser treatment that uses a specialized carbon lotion and Spectra laser technology to gently exfoliate the skin, unclog pores, and stimulate collagen, sometimes called the "Hollywood Laser Peel." It does not break the surface of your skin, so it fits around a real schedule.
What can Hollywood Spectra treat?
Skin texture, fine lines, sun damage, acne and acne scars, melasma, hyperpigmentation, large pores, dull tone, and mild skin laxity. It is also used for tattoo and permanent-makeup removal, which we cover on its own page.
Is there downtime?
Very little. Sessions typically run under 30 minutes and most clients describe a warm, prickly sensation rather than real discomfort. Because the treatment does not create a wound, it is one of the few resurfacing options that is safe to use year-round, including the sunnier months, with SPF protection.
How is this different from IPL or CO2?
IPL targets pigment specifically, and CO2 removes the outer layer of skin for a bigger single-session change with real recovery time.
